Welcome to the Department of Animal Science at Sumnima Polytechnic Institute (SPI)—a premier CTEVT-affiliated institution located in Deurali, Bhojpur. Our three-year Diploma in Agriculture (Animal Science) is thoughtfully designed to develop skilled mid-level professionals capable of making a genuine impact in Nepal’s livestock and veterinary sectors. Guided by the CTEVT curriculum, this program combines solid foundation courses in agricultural science with hands-on training in animal nutrition, health, breeding, housing, and extension services.

Through six semesters of immersive learning—including a final-year project and internship—you’ll gain the competencies needed to diagnose animal health issues, manage livestock production systems, support dairy and poultry enterprises, and serve your community as a certified junior technician.
